High school seniors in the South San Francisco Unified School District have reaped a rich harvest of scholarships this year. The Class of 2016, in total, has accumulated nearly $1.5 million in monetary awards. The seniors represent South San Francisco High School, El Camino High School and Baden High School, the District’s continuation school. Broken down by school, the scholarship totals, in all categories, amount to: $1,232,700 at South San Francisco, $239,200 at El Camino and $5,500 at Baden.
District Superintendent Dr. Shawnterra Moore praised the high-achieving seniors and stated, “I want to congratulate all of them, their parents and teachers as well, for a job well done. I wish all of them, along with their graduating peers, the very best in the future.”
