National Night Out GAME ON to Help Neighbors Connect on August 2nd

South San Francisco, CA     July 16, 2016  National-Night-Out_t580

UPDATE BELOW

Take some time this weekend and talk with your neighbors – make plans for Tuesday August 2nd for National Night Out.

This is ONE night a year that is nationally recognized and supported that we turn the porch light on and go outside and actually…. OMG – TALK to our neighbors! Statistics show a stronger neighborhood creates a safer neighborhood!

Most of us are good at the casual ‘Wave’ but this is a great opportunity to put something together for block parties or simply pull out a few chairs and chat. To that end ESC is holding a GAME ON – tell us what is planned in your neighborhood for NTO August 2nd and be automatically entered! A winner will be randomly chosen and will win a great prize thanks for our local family businesses that are supporting our efforts.

South City Grocery Outlet will once again donate a $50 gift card! Our new bakery in town, Dynora Bakery & Catering which is located at 308 Alida Way, is offering $25 worth of their delicious delectables. We will be adding more great prizes from our local businesses as time goes on. We must have 10 people entered for game to play so share the word!

Take advantage of this opportunity to build a safer neighborhood and together we can build a stronger City!

We look forward to hearing your plans!

ABOUT NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community
partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a

true sense of community. It furthermore provides an opportunity to bring police and neighbors together.

Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other community events with safety demos, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.
