SSFPD Media Release: Possession of Controlled Substance/ Resisting Arrest Resulting in Injury to Officer

Late Sunday night, South San Francisco Police Officers stopped “- late model Honda Accord on the 900 block of Grand Avenue for having no front license plate. The driver, 32-year-old South San Francisco resident Kristine Killilea, was determined to be driving with a suspended driver license. Killilea admitted to officers she had contraband in her vehicle. When officers attempted to search her, Killilea began struggling with officers. During the struggle, one of the arresting officers sustained non-life threatening injury to her hand. Killilea was arrested and booked at the San Mateo County jail possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest and causing bodily injury to an officer. The officer was transported to a local hospital, treated for her injuries and released.
