South San Francisco, CA October 18, 2016 Submitted by Vincent Riener, Principal, All Souls Catholic School
All Souls Catholic School and Church will be the first Catholic School and Parish within the Archdiocese of San Francisco to install a solar system on the Campus. The school and Parish have been saving money for such a project and now it has become a reality. Construction of the project began today with the installation of the panels on the school roof and the church roof. The project will take approximately four weeks to complete.
The community is very excited about this project as in the long term it will save the school on high energy costs. As well as this, the project is environmentaly friendly and will preserve resources for future generations. Under the leadership of Principal Riener and Pastor Tamoro this project will be a legacy for future generations.
