Annual Cruzada Guadalupana Pilgrimage Set For December 10th

South San Francisco, CA   November 19, 2016

The annual pilgrimage of Cruzada Guadalupana is expected to draw more than 30,000 participants in a march from All Souls Church in South San Francisco to St. Mary’s Cathedral, San Francisco. The marchers will begin at 5:30 a.m. and the route will be from All Souls at Walnut to Grand Avenue to Mission Road and depart to San Francisco. For locals, please expect early morning traffic delays between 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. in this area due to the march.

About the event:
The 12-mile walk will take almost six hours to reach the Cathedral where at 2 p.m. they will celebrate with a mass. This is the 23rd anniversary of the event founded by Marta Garcia and Pedro Garcia in 1994. Contact information:; (415) 203-2418, (415) 333-4868
