SSFPD Media Release: Strong Arm Robbery

On 11/01/2016 at 0730 hours, the suspect pretended to make a purchase  at a gas  station  located  on  South Linden Avenue at North Canal Street in South San Francisco. When the attendant opened the cash register, the suspect reached across the counter, pushed the attendant’s arm away from the till, and stole money from the register before fleeing from the scene. The attendant  was  not  injured  and no weapons were used  or brandished.

 

The suspect is described as a African-American male adult in his 20’s or 30’s standing approximately  6’00” tall and having an average build. The suspect also had a goatee. The suspect fled in  a vehicle described  as a silver pickup  truck  similar to  a 2000’s  model  Chevrolet Silverado.
