SSFPD Media Release:Shooting/ Attempted Murder

At 7:32 p.m. on Halloween day, a 2l year-old South San Francisco resident and his cousin were standing near their residence on the 3900 block of Reston Court in South San Francisco when a vehicle approached on the 2400 block of Greendale Drive with an unknown number of subjects inside. One of the passengers of the vehicle fired several rounds from a small caliber pistol in the direction of the individuals, striking the victim one time in his lower extremities. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
