Dunkin’ Donuts Expands on the Peninsula with New Restaurant in South San Francisco

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – January 17, 2017 – America’s favorite all-day, everyday coffee stop has arrived in South San Francisco. Today, Dunkin’ Donuts announced it will open a new restaurant near San Francisco International Airport at 180 S. Airport Blvd. on Wednesday, Feb. 1. The restaurant will host a grand opening celebration featuring food and beverage samples, special giveaways, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and appearances from local dignitaries.

The new restaurant will be open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It will offer free Wi-Fi and modern interior décor, providing a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ assorted food and beverages in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

South San Francisco will be the fourth Bay Area Dunkin’ Donuts to open in the last year, following restaurants in Walnut Creek, Half Moon Bay and American Canyon that opened in 2016. It will be the second location for franchising company California Donut Kings, LLC, which also owns and operates the restaurant in Half Moon Bay. The company has plans to open 24 more Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Alameda and San Mateo counties over the next several years. The new store will employ 30 crew members.

The new Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant will serve a complete menu featuring its world famous freshly-brewed Hot and Iced Coffees, as well as Espresso, Cappuccino, Macchiato and Lattes, Hot and Iced Teas, Smoothies, Coolatta® frozen beverages and Cold Brew coffee. It will also serve the full menu of delicious donuts, bakery goods and sandwiches, including a selection of better-for-you DDSMART® menu items. All Dunkin’ Donuts menu items are available any time of day, and guests are gladly welcomed to customize their favorite food and beverages.
