SSFPD Media Release: Burglary, Felon in Possession of Stolen Gun

South San Francisco, CA   January 27, 2017  Submitted by SSFPD 

On O 1/26/2017, keen neighbors noticed a susp1c1ous person exiting a residence they knew to be unoccupied in the Sunshine Gardens Neighborhood and alerted the  Police  Department.  Officers responded and located convicted felon Bryce Landes, a 44 year old construction worker from El Sobrante. The  investigation  revealed  Landes  had  stolen items from the home and was in possession of a stolen handgun as well as a useable quantity  of  a controlled substance. Landes was  arrested  and  booked  at  the  Maguire  Correctional  Facility.  The  owner of the residence  was not home at the  time.

 

The Police Department is grateful for our partnership with our community who diligently alert us to suspicious incidents  in our City.
