Once again Everything South City will support a team for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life which will take place on April 29/30 at San Bruno City Park. This 24 hour event brings an amazing group of folks and we are proud to be part of it once again. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Kick Off Party scheduled for Monday January 30th at the San Francisco Wine School from 6-8pm, located at 415 Grand Avenue (across from City Hall) Street parking is available as well as parking in the Miller Ave Parking Structure 1/2 block away. What is Relay For Life?
Relay is a team fundraising event where team members take turns walking around a track or designated path. Each event is 6-24 hours in length and each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. Cancer patients don’t stop because they’re tired, and for one night, neither do we.
Each team sets up a themed campsite at the event and continues their fundraising efforts by collecting donations for food, goods, games, and activities. This money will count towards their overall team fundraising goal.
