Project Read, a program of the South San Francisco Library is offering qualifying candidates a chance to earn $2 for every dollar up to $500 they save through the non-profit Opportunity Fund Program.
Orientation is Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00 AM -12:30. Mandatory Financial Education class is Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10:00 AM.
Clients save $500 over one year and take one financial education class then receive $1,000 for an emergency fund.
Clients must be low-income to moderate income (according to 2016 tax return).
Clients must be residents of San Mateo, Santa Clara, or Alameda County.
