All Harbor District Commission meetings are recorded and posted at www.PacificCoast.tv within 48 hours of the meeting. Pacifica residents can tune into Comcast Channel 26 and residents from Montara through Pescadero can tune into Comcast Channel 27. Copies of the meetings can also be purchased from PCT and mailed for $18.

 

Persons requiring special accommodation with respect to physical disability are directed to make such requests per the Americans With Disabilities Act to the Deputy Secretary to the Board at 650-583-4400, 72 hours in advance.

B.)  Public Comments/Questions

The Public may directly address the Board of Harbor Commissioners for a limit of three (3) minutes, unless a request is granted for more time, on any item of public interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the San Mateo County Harbor District, Board of Harbor Commissioners that is not on the regular Agenda. If a member of the public wishes to  address the Board on an Agenda Item, that person must complete a Public Speaker Form  and wait until that Item comes up for discussion. All items on the consent calendar are approved by one motion unless a Commissioner requests at the beginning of the meeting that an item be withdrawn or transferred to the regular agenda. Any item on the regular agenda may be transferred to the consent calendar.

Recommendation:  Review Pre-Approved  Bills and Claims  in the Amount  of

$499,705.77.   Pre-Approval  Bills and Claims  not to exceed  up to $350,000.

Recommendation: Approve Minutes of the Regular Board Meeting of January 18, 2017.

  • Pillar Point Harbor Sidewalk Expansion and  Parking Lot Improvement (Moren) Recommendation: Approve agreement amendment for further design and engineering and authorized the General Manager to execute.

 

13. 2017 Goals and Obiectives (McGrath)

Recommendation:  Receive report and  identify Goals and Objectives for   2017.

14. First Look at Rates and Fees Effective July 1, 2017: General and Oyster Point Marina and Park (Lazof)

First look – initial direction to staff. Final decision at June 21, 2017 Regular Meeting. (Pillar Point Harbor First Look will be at April 19th Regular Meeting)

 

15. First Look: San Mateo County Harbor District 2017/18 Fiscal Year Budget (Lazof)

Recommendation:  Receive  report,  review data.

 

16. California Special District Association (CSDA): Nomination to Board of Directors for CSDA Election (McGrath)

Policy: The  Board may consider  nomination to the CSDA  Board of  Directors.

 

  1. Special District Risk Management Authority (SDRMA):  Nomination to  Board of Directors for SDRMA Election: Adopt SDRMA Resolution No. 17-02. (McGrath) Policy: The Board may consider adopting resolution for nomination to the SDRMA Board of

 

18. Discuss  and approve  the creation and/or  development  of  policies and procedures under which the Board will govern itself. (Chang Kiraly) Board Policies and Procedures.
