Congratulations are in order for five of our South San Francisco City employees for receiving the Rotary’s highest honor by demonstrating the Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, by volunteering their time and talents to help others. The award is internationally competitive and is granted to no more than 150 Rotarians worldwide, and no more than one from each district, each year.

Congratulations to Roxane Cole, Records Supervisor for the South San Francisco Police Department; Tom Carney, a Safety Inspector II for the South San Francisco Fire Department; Ines Mendez, Office Specialist for the South San Francisco Economic and Community Development Department; Marie Patea, Administrative Assistant for the South San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department; and Anna Taloma, a librarian for the South San Francisco Public Library.
