Construction alert: Portions of Airport Blvd. (southbound) closed from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Please note the upcoming traffic impacts in South San Francisco:
Monday, April 10 to Friday, April 14
Southbound Airport Blvd., between Miller and Lux
Please be advised construction activity in and around the old Ford Property (Cadence Project), will have ongoing traffic related impact to road lanes as the contractor continues to do underground sanitary sewer utility work. Work will be conducted between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Traffic lanes will reopen by 7:00 a.m
UPCOMING WORK:
1. Saturday, April 15, 2017
The Cadence Project contractor will be hauling material from the site. No traffic lane or street closures are expected. This effort is weather dependent and therefore scheduled efforts are subject to change and rescheduling. This work may begin as early as 7:00 a.m. with prior City approval.
2. Monday, April 17 – Friday, April 21
Northbound Airport Blvd., between Miller and Grand
The Cadence Project contractor will begin storm sewer utility undergrounding efforts on the north side of Airport Blvd. In an ongoing effort to minimize impact to commuter traffic, hours of will be 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Traffic lanes will reopen by 7:00 a.m.
*Drivers are asked to avoid the area and/or use alternate routes during that days and time. If driving in this area, please follow all traffic control signs and flagger direction.
3. Ongoing construction at 100 Baden (Pinefino Project)
Please be advised, sidewalk closures remain in effect for this project. Affected areas include:
- FordSidewalk along south side of Cypress between Baden and Grand Ave;
- East sidewalk on Baden Ave. between S. Airport and City parking lot driveway; and
- 3rd Lane between Cypress and City parking lot driveway entrance.
Cypress between Baden and 3rd Lane has daily street closures between 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to facilitate utility undergrounding work. Cypress reopens at 11:00 a.m. and remains open the remainder of the day.
