On April 19, 2017 around 4:20 PM, a South San Francisco resident was walking on the stairwell leading from Alta Loma Drive to El Camino Real when she was approached by an unknown suspect. Without provocation, the suspect punched the victim, stole her cell phone and fled the area on foot. The suspect was described as an African American female, approximately 19 years of age, 5′ 4″ with a husky build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
