Each year our local Bay Area Scout Troops honor our fallen soldiers in remembrance by placing the US Flag on each grave in the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, California. Below are a few photos shared by Davida Dean, mother of Andrew Dean a member of Boy Scout Troop 72.

“Scout Troop 72 put out flags at the Golden Gate National Cemetery along with hundreds of other Boy & Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Venture Scouts from all around the Bay Area. This is an annual tradition done the Saturday before Memorial Day” Davida tells us.

MEMORIAL DAY is the time we remember and honor our fallen soldiers, those who died while in service.
VETERANS DAY is the time we make special efforts to thank, honor and remember all our veterans and active military
EVERYDAY is the time to remember and thank them all.
