The first annual Star City Music Festival is a spectacular family-friendly event coming to Brisbane, California—The City of Stars—at the eastern foot of San Bruno Mountain, where the sun hides from foggy San Francisco during summertime! On the Saturday after Independence Day—July 8th—artists including funk party pleasuremakers Afrolicious, gypsy-rockers Diego’s Umbrella, Allman Brothers tribute the Allmond Brothers Clan, world renown guitar virtuoso Eric McFadden (P-Funk, The Animals, Anders Osborne), psychedelic indie rockers Killer Whale, diva sirens Pamela Parker and Ashley Kepler, as well as favorite local sons and daughters such as Jerry Kuhel and Katie Garibaldi will play from noon to dusk in stellar Community Park. The largest geographic feature on the San Francisco peninsula will provide breathtaking backdrop, and a significant portion of proceeds will benefit San Bruno Mountain Watch to help ensure preservation of its precious nature reserve.
