On Thursday, June 15th at about 1:32 a.m., South San Francisco Police Officers and South San Francisco Fire personnel were dispatched to the 300 block of Shaw Road on the report of a traffic collision. Officers located a vehicle that struck a metal fence adjacent to the street.
The police investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, identified as 51 year-old Ronald Cerri, was driving his vehicle under the influence of a drug. Cerri was placed under arrest for driving under the influence and transported to the hospital.
