Join the South San Francisco Public Library on a tour of historic sites along Grand Avenue. The tour will begin at the Grand Avenue Library, a Carnegie building, with a presentation and refreshments. We will visit the hotel that housed the earliest workers and their families in the booming industrial town, tour the house that served as the first hospital, and other buildings that hold historical memories of early South City. Grand Avenue is on a slight incline.
Free parking behind library, entrance on Miller Street.
