Cal Water Services: Water Main Replacement Has Begun
California Water Service (Cal Water) is replacing 10,000 feet of water main pipes, as well as affected laterals and fire hydrants, to improve water supply reliability and fire protection.
Installation takes place as follows:
- Phase One will be on Hillside Blvd. from Lincoln Street to Highland, including part of Irvine Street, Lincoln Street, and Kearney Street (July/August/September 2017)
- Phase Two will be on Hemlock Avenue, from Lincoln Street to Highland, including the remainder of Irvine Street Kearney Street (August/September/October 2017)
- Phase Three will be on Larch Avenue, from Lincoln Street to Highland, including the remainder of Lincoln Street (September/October/November 2017)
All work is performed Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The anticipated completion of this project is November 2017.
