Bad wk to live in South City as far as armed robberies go. On 7/13 2 men walking thru a gated apt were attacked and beaten down by 10-13 teens and young adults over a hat. Which after brutalizing the two men (one of which a 50yr ssf native) the mob got the hat while the victim was hospitalized after being found unconscious and bloody on ecr. But according to ssf police…the man had to provoke them. So I guess saying no to a mob of wannabe gangbangers and walking away is provocation. I wonder if the woman said no before her purse was grabbed.
