On 10/9/17 at approximately 1644 hours, a suspect shot at his ex-girlfriend and her friend while the victim’s vehicle was stopped on Tower Place and Airport Boulevard in South San Francisco. The suspect pulled his vehicle, described as a black primer colored Toyota Previa minivan, next to the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect then aimed a black revolver at the victims and fired twice striking the victim’s vehicle. The victims attempted to drive away but the suspect struck the victim’s vehicle with his vehicle causing damage. The suspect fled the scene in his vehicle after following the victim’s vehicle for a short distance.
South San Francisco Police obtained the suspect and vehicle description and further investigation led to a suspect in the shooting. On 10/10/17 at approximately 1050 hours, South San Francisco Police Detectives contacted the suspect, identified as Danny Wooten (resides in San Francisco, **51 years old, unemployed), and arrested him in San Francisco. Wooten was booked at the San Mateo County Jail and charged with 664/187 P.C. (Attempted Murder), 245(a)(l) P.C. (Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon), 29800(a)(l) P.C. (Felon in Possession ofa Firearm) and 25850(a) P.C. (Carry of a Loaded Firearm).
