Local Toys R Us Stores to Remain – For Now – as Part of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Reorganization Plan Closes up to 182 Stores Nationwide

South San Francisco, CA  January 24, 2018 

Rumors around town of Toys R Us going bankrupt and closing local stores has caused many in our area concern even though more and more shoppers turn to internet sales for their goods. It is reported that up to 182 Toys R Us stores nationwide will be closing by April of this year as part of the companies bankruptcy reorganization plan. In addition 25 stores in the UK will also be going out of business as a result of the company’s plan to reinvent itself in today’s retail market.

The following California stores, will be closed with going out of business sales starting in February and ending in April per USA Today:
