The South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to attend the 2018 Annual Recognition and Business Awards dinner set for February 22nd at the Conference Center located at 255 South Airport Blvd, South San Francisco.
The MC of Ceremonies will be Assembly Speaker pro-TEM Kevin Mulllin with Outstanding Business Award Recipients as follows:
Emerging Business of the Year: Sixt Rent a Car
Community Involvement: FNBNORCAL
Innovation/Sustainability: Oyster Point Development, LLC
Business Success: Basque Cultural Center
Mayor’s Award: Rotary Club of South San Francisco
Special Recognition Award: The Homeless Outreach Team
Outstanding Citizen Award: Tom Carney
Joe Fernekes Volunteer of the Year Award: Elaine Garbarino
Dick Noftsger Lifetime Achievement Award: Jeff Azzopardi
No host cocktails will be served at 6:00 P.M. with dinner served at 7:00 P.M. with entree choices including Surf and Turf or Grilled Vegetable Ratatouille, along with salad, rolls, dessert and wine. The cost of this event is $75 for Chamber members and $95 for the general public. This is one of South City’s finest events and we encourage neighbors to attend and applaud those receiving the awards.
