South San Francisco, CA  May 29, 2018  Submitted by Sheri Boles, City of South San Francisco

The City of South San Francisco encourages residents to mark their calendars for Tuesday June 12th  to come over to the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, between the hours of 9am-3pm to donate blood during the City’s Summer Blood Drive. One hour of your time can mean a lifetime to someone else! Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. CLICK HERE to read just a few of their stories.
