Measure J Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee Currently Seeking New Members

In 2010, the citizens of South San Francisco passed the Measure J Bond.  As part of any state bond construction, a citizens’ oversight committee is mandated by law.  As stated in the California Education Code, members can serve for a maximum of three two-year terms.

REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

CITIZENS’ BOND OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE

 

The Board of Trustees of the South San Francisco Unified School District is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving on the Measure J Bond Oversight Committee. Representation is sought in the following areas:

 

  1. Representative from a business organization in the District
  2. Representative from a Senior Citizens’ Organization
  3. Parent/Guardian of a child in the District
  4. Parent/Guardian of a child in the District also active in a Parent-Teacher Organization
  5. Representative of a bona fide Taxpayers’ Organization
