Pre-Register NOW for Backpack Giveaway Event on August 9th

South San Francisco students in grades K-12 who have proof of residency, birth certificate and proof they attend school, are eligible to pre-register for a backpack filled with school supplies, thanks to the generous donations made by the event sponsors that include South City Police and Fire Departments, the Unified School District, YMCA and local business Torani. Pre-registration started on July 16th and can still be done in person by stopping by the YMCA office 1486 Huntington Ave Ste 1 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between the hours of 11am-3pm or on Wednesdays 9am-noon with the required information. One backpack per student.

The Backpack Giveaway Event will take place on August 9th at the South San Francisco High School starting at 11am until 1pm at which time there will be treats available thanks to the event sponsors.
