Community Civic Campus City Council Discussion this Wednesday, August 22nd at 7:00 p.m.

Dear Community Members,
We wanted to let you know that there will be a follow up Community Civic Campus discussion at this Wednesday’s City Council meeting, August 22, at the Municipal Services Building (33 Arroyo Drive), starting at 7:00 p.m.

 

The staff report was made available to the public last Friday, August 17. You can access the report here.

 

This Wednesday, Staff will present an alternative master plan option in response to recent community comments and will be seeking City Council direction on the preferred master plan option for schematic design.

 

We welcome you to attend this meeting or watch it televised on the following channels:
  • Astound – CH 26
  • Comcast – CH 27
  • AT&T U-verse – CH 99

This meeting will also be recorded.

There’s been an awful lot of discussion for quite some time about the lack of affordable housing, not only in SSF but state-wide. This topic is at the top of every discussion surrounding not only this PUC project but several other projects around South City. There is some ray of light, however, based on what this article in The Nation says. Please read it and vote accordingly in the fall!:
