About Everything South City GAME ON contests:

Everything South City holds GAME ON contests through out the year as a way to engage our public while showcasing various local businesses and services. Prizes are paid for by ESC and by our generous partners to whom we greatly appreciate and ask that our neighbors continue to support those who support our community – and Everything South City.

Our deep appreciation to Kunal Patel, General Manager of the Ramada Limited and Suites San Francisco Airport, a Wyndham Property, for providing the winner with three nights lodging in a double queen suite, continental breakfasts and so much more as can be seen on the flyer below, at a value of $850. The Ramada Limited, located on Airport Avenue, is a wonderful place to reserve for out-of-town guests so please do remember them when a need arises. They can be reached at 650/873.7300

To our esteemed Mayor Liza Normandy, we appreciate the time she has set aside to welcome former neighbors back to our ‘little town’, or to current neighbors, to join her in the Mayor’s Office at City Hall. Julie Chimenti, Treasurer of the Plymire-Schwarz House and Historical Society of South San Francisco Committee Member, has agreed to set a private tour for our winner allowing them to step back in time while seeing all the changes our City is experiencing today. We are finalizing a few local favorite eateries’ gift certificates and will be updating this information shortly.

Those who enter this contest must be subscribers to our Weekly Digest. Our weekly digest is a summary of the week’s articles of news and views from South San Francisco’s #1 GO-TO for local news and views. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP NOW!

I have a family business in SOSF since 1990 and have lived in SOSF for 20 years now. I would love to see some SOSF History. I grew up in Millbrae but never really explored SOSF.
Thanks

I grew up in south city and moved to the Central Valley almost 23 years ago. Would love to come back and show my kids where I grew up. Orange Park was where I played and learned to swim. Meet the new mayor and pick up some sandwiches from Little Lucca which I follow on FB lol

Lookup some old friends and go to some other old stomping grounds! Wishing whomever wins a great time!

I’ve lived in South San Francisco for 60 years. I moved to San Bruno and bought a house when I was in my 30s, but then move back to So. City after a year. Even though I’ve lived here for the majority of my life. There are still so many places, and things that I do not yet know about South city. I would love to take a tour and to get to know our city better.

I live in SSF, but want to truly experience this beautiful place! Learning about the early days at the Historical Society, gazing at the Light Tree from afar, driving along Hillside and Grand, … there’s so much I have yet to discover, and I’d cherish the opportunity to really take it all in.

Hi Everything South City,
I would lo e to win the staycation. 23 years ago my husband moved back to his home town (South City) and he brought me with him. We have been busy raising kids and have never had an opportunity to explore. We do love driving up to the wind harp and listening to the music. It would be nice to not be at home during all the set up as we live really close to the park and the Bush school. Thank you ESC!

Kind of hard to stay away from South City and will tell you why.. I have been lap swimming at Orange Pool since 1980 and to this day I go there still for continued laps, exercise and mingle with friend’s. On top of that it is hard to keep me away from Little Lucca’s, Darby Dan’s and Skydragon Restaurant which I frequent on a regular basis, hence the pool to keep off the pounds..Besides having many friends and doing business there for many years it is convenient city to be in..

I’m a San Bruno neighbor but my mom lived in South City many years, and a dear friend grew up in South City and lives there, so we like to go on walks around town and she tells me stories and shows me places from when she was a kid. There’s so much interesting architecture, beautiful views, great shopping and dining — I’d love a mini-vacation so close to home without the hassle of travel!

I would love to explore South City (some more). I’ve lived here for 38 years and yet there is so much more to discover and so many more places to make memories!! School starts very soon so a staycation in September would be a wonderful break, plus I’ve never stayed at the Ramada so already that would be a new South City gem to explore!! Of course chit chatting with my favorite mayor would be awesome as well!!
