South San Francisco, CA September 19, 2018 Submitted by Leslie Arroyo City of South San Francisco
Please be advised, starting in October, improvements will be made along El Camino Real between Chestnut Avenue and Arroyo Drive, and also between McClellan Drive to Kaiser Way. It’s anticipated this construction will last through spring 2019.
The project will provide new median and sidewalk landscaping items, a slurry seal of roadway between the project limits of work, re-striping of the existing El Camino Real, concrete ADA ramps, new traffic signalization, and minor utility adjustments.
Work will occur from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The City will make every attempt to keep a minimum of two lanes open in each direction of travel along the El Camino Real corridor. Please refer to the attached photo of the locations affected.
