Late Saturday morning at approximately 11:30 a.m. South San Francisco police officers were called to the 400 block of Railroad Avenue to investigate the reports of multiple gunshots heard in the area. Arriving officers located Hayward resident Sandro Delgadillo-Paredes suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local trauma center for treatment of his injuries.
Investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an altercation with his estranged wife, 29 year old Oakland resident Monica Solorio, who then produced a weapon and shot the victim. Officers arrested Solorio at the scene without incident and recovered the suspected weapon.
The 400 block of Railroad was shut down for approximately one hour while officers conducted the investigation and collected evidence at the scene. There were no other injuries during the incident.
