REMINDER! PUC Community Meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, January 29th, starting at 5:30 p.m. at MSB

South San Francisco, CA    January 28, 2019 Submitted by Leslie Arroyo City of South San Francisco

The PUC Site is a 5.9-acre parcel of land owned by the Successor Agency to the former South San Francisco Redevelopment Agency. The Site is located along Mission Road, just north of the planned Community Civic Campus. AGI/KASA is the developer for this project and it has scheduled its second Community Workshop for January 29, 2019, at the Municipal Services Building from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The developer has prepared materials for its Workshop #2 based upon the detailed feedback received from its previous community meeting held last month and will provide attendees with feedback received. Community members can find more information about the project, as well as opportunities to share their feedback directly with AGI-KASA, at courb.co/ssfpucdev

Please note this proposed development is in the Sunshine Gardens’ neighborhood off of Chestnut Ave, across from the SMC Courthouse. The original proposed development was presented at 15-stories. However, push back from the community resulted in then Mayor Normandy stating staff been instructed to seek 3-stories on Mission Road moving to 5=stories closer to El Camino Real.

The proposed development will dissect Colma Creek and will be built above BART
