Community Civic Campus and Schematic Design Meeting set for February 6, 2019 at City Hall

Residents: You’re Invited to a public meeting on the Community Civic Campus

Please join us on Wednesday, February 6, 6 p.m., at City Hall Conference Room, 400 Grand Ave., for a community meeting regarding the Community Civic Campus and Schematic Design. The meeting is held in conjunction with the SSF Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee.

Can’t make the meeting on Feb. 6th? No worries as we are having two more community meetings on the same topic:

Thursday, February 7, 7 p.m., at the Municipal Services Building, Council Chambers, 33 Arroyo Drive, in conjunction with the SSF  Planning Commission

Tuesday, February 19, 4 p.m., at the City Hall Annex, 315 Maple Ave., in conjunction with the Design Review Board.

As backgrounder, the schematic design of the Community Civic Campus is the first design phase where design options are explored that illustrate the general scope, scale, and relationship of project components. The Smith Group, the architects are helping to advance the design of the Public Library, Parks and Recreation Dept building,  and the Fire and Police stations, and the campus site. During the community meetings, the Smith Group will present design options and solicit your feedback.
