Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA’s Pet of the Week: Nutmeg

South San Francisco, CA  March 14, 2019 Submitted by Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA

As an open-door shelter, the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA has a wide variety of animals available for adoption including Japanese Quail.  Meet Nutmeg, a friendly and curious male Japanese Quail who is looking for a new home.  Nutmeg is social and enjoys exploring his surroundings.  He would do very well in a safe and secure outdoor aviary, and would be extremely happy to have other quail friends.  Ready to take a walk on the exotic pet animal side?  Ask for Nutmeg ID# A857274.

Other adoptable pets are available at Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame. The shelter is open for adoptions weekdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Potential adopters should arrive at least an hour before closing time to complete an adoption. For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.phs-spca.org.
