Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA’s Pet of the Week: Aramis

South San Francisco, CA  May 30, 2019 Submitted by Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA

And in this corner weighing in at just under an ounce, undefeated in changing people’s minds about rodents as pets and the titleholder of the tiniest feetsies is Aramis!  Meet Aramis, an adult male brilliant white albino mouse.  Aramis may be pint-sized in stature, but his personality is super-sized.  He’s playful, affectionate and oh so cute. A mouse is the perfect pet for someone wanting a critter that is not noisy and lower-maintenance than other pets.  No need to walk or groom Aramis, he grooms himself and true to the idiom, he’s as quiet as a mouse.  Looking for a champion pocket pet?  Ask for Aramis ID# A856175.

Other adoptable pets are available at Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame. The shelter is open for adoptions weekdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Potential adopters should arrive at least an hour before closing time to complete an adoption. For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.phs-spca.org.
