Sponsorship of Five, Free Concerts Encourages Total Health in the Community
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 13, 2019 – Kaiser Permanente is proud to once again help sponsor Stern Grove Festival (SGF) in San Francisco. The 10-performance Sunday concert series is free to the public and kicks off this Sunday, running to August 18.
“Kaiser Permanente’s mission is supporting the well-being of the communities we serve,” said Randy Wittorp, public affairs director, Kaiser Permanente San Francisco. “We believe the arts and the outdoors are essential components of total health and we’re proud to again help sponsor Stern Grove Festival. It’s a great way to spend time with friends and family while nourishing our minds and bodies.”
As a Supporting Partner, Kaiser Permanente’s sponsorship helps to pay for general operating expenses and the marketing of the summer concert series to underserved audiences.
“We are thrilled to count Kaiser Permanente as one of our most strategic and well-aligned partners,” said SGF Executive Director, Bob Fiedler. “We believe that experiencing high-quality live music promotes health, happiness, and well-being. Our concerts bridge cultural and generational gaps and bring people together, which is healing and important in our society today, and they are just downright fun!”
Kaiser Permanente will have a booth at the June 16th and July 28th sponsored concerts so community members can stop by for a free apple to add to their healthy picnic lunches, along with getting some general health tips.
