Gonzales family are seeking a place to call home after falling for a rental scam, paying $10K and now need a place to live
Almost reaching their goal of $10,000, the amount they were scammed when they rented a South City home on the 300 block of Valencia Drive earlier this month, the Gonzeles family is seeking a place they can call home as they live out of their van. They need our help to find a place to call home.
South San Francisco Police Department released a media update on June 11th, identifying this rental scam after being contacted by the Gonzales’, and warned the public offering tips to ensure the information is correct.
While we have many local long time residents seeking affordable housing, the market does not appear to be too kind to anyone, and the Gonzales’, with their two children cannot continue to live in their van long term. They need our help.
