Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Pet of the Week: Jack

South San Francisco, CA   July 27, 2019 Submitted by Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA

If you’re looking for a cute, round, and sweet ball of fur, then Jack the guinea pig is the perfect fit for you.  This curious and active guy is a four year old male guinea pig with ginger coloring and a cute line of white fur going up his face and around the middle of his body.   Jack is a bit nervous and shy at first, but with time and patience his true colors will be shown.   He enjoys spending time running around his pen and also relaxing within his castle hut as well as eating hay, fresh parsley, and watching long MLB baseball games.  (Since he’s orange, he’s partial to the San Francisco Giants.)  Also, Jack’s adoption fee is waived through the end of August. Interested in an adorable fur ball? Ask for Jack ID# A862479.

Other adoptable pets are available at Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame.  The shelter is open for adoptions weekdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Potential adopters should arrive at least an hour before closing time to complete an adoption.  For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.phs-spca.org.
