UPDATE AT 7:42PM PER SMC ALERT SYSTEM: The incident at Tanforan Mall has been contained. Public Safety personnel will be on scene for several more hours, please continue to stay out of the surrounding area. Tanforan Mall anticipates reopening tomorrow morning at 10 am.
Vehicles parked in the Tanforan Mall, Target and Bart associated parking lots will be accessible in the next few hours. Thank you for your cooperation.

San Mateo County Alert System sent out this alert at 4:14pm Please stay out of the area – San Bruno Police Department is on scene investigating a shooting. Please stay out of the area. Will will update when we have more information. Thank you
Local neighbors, some who were in the Mall at the time, report that there were possibly 2 victims, one shot in the stomach and one in the leg. Nothing has been confirmed by the police although KPIX has been updating from different sources as well.
One neighbor sent a few links to videos on twitter, taken from the Mall, one with a victim down, yet moving HERE. The other of a victim being transported out of the building HERE. Other neighbors have reported being in the vicinity of being evacuated while others in nearby businesses have been told to shelter in place.
We will update once the Police have completed their investigation so we can be sure correct info is getting out as well.
