Please read and share with family, friends and neighbors:
This Thursday, October 17th at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 33 Arroyo, the Planning Commission will be presented with the PUC development.
It is important that residents attend this meeting and speak out against the project. Your objections must be stated on the record during the public comment portion and you must specifically state why you do not support and object to the project because:
-
It’s eight (8) stories when the City Council assured us it would be 3 – 5 stories in height;
-
It is over 800 units which is too many units for this area;
-
The traffic is unbearable now even before the car wash is completed, let alone the other housing in the area (Antoinette Lane Apartments, Peninsula Pine, the Safeway shopping area, and the approved Community Civic Campus)
Whatever is raised as an objection at this meeting will be the only things considered if we choose to go forward with a lawsuit to stop the project. So, it is important people speak out against the project with specifics.
Also, please write a letter of opposition to the Planning Commission that you do not support the PUC project for the reasons stated above (height, density, traffic). Here is the mailing address:

City of South San Francisco
P.O. Box 711

Please share this with your neighbors and family, and try to follow up to make sure they write letters of opposition.
Attend this meeting and let the City know we OPPOSE the PUC developer’s plans.
