South San Francisco, CA October 3, 2019 
SMC Alert System sent out a message at 5:23am today regarding the closing of NB Hwy 101, north of Paul Avenue in San Francisco, which is a few miles north of South San Francisco, due to a multi vehicle fatality collision.
Later reports stated a woman in her 30’s, driving a Volkswagon, had been driving in the wrong direction, which resulted in a head on collision with a taxi cab. The driver of the Volkswagon, the Taxi driver, and two of his passengers were killed.
