Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA’s Pet of the Week: Chicken

South San Francisco, CA  October 31, 2019 Submitted by Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA

Despite having the moniker Chicken, he’s actually a dog.  A tiny four pound cuddlesome nugget of a dog.  Chicken is a 10-year old neutered male Chihuahua with golden fur.  Chicken’s age defies his spirited and playful personality.  With his puckish smile and adorable trick of standing and hopping on two feet, Chicken is guaranteed to make you grin ear to ear.  He enjoys the company of other canines his size and loves nibbling on dog treats.  Seeking a petite and amiable dog?  Ask for Chicken ID# A863704.

Other adoptable pets are available at Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame. The shelter is open for adoptions weekdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Potential adopters should arrive at least an hour before closing time to complete an adoption. For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.phs-spca.org.
