South San Francisco, CA December 6, 2019 Submitted by Lisa DeMattei, Kiwanis Club of SSF
Kiwanis Club of SS, along with the South San Francisco Grand Avenue Branch Library, will be hosting STEM WONDERLAND FOR KIDS on Saturday, December 7th from 10am to 4pm where we’ll have FREE hands-on STEM activities for kids.
Santa will be visiting with children next door at SSF City Hall from 11am to 3pm and we wanted to provide a fun opportunity for kids to sign up for a library card, explore the library, and have fun with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) concepts with hands-on learning opportunities either before or after visiting Santa.
Staffed by Kiwanis, Circle K and Key Club volunteers, as well as partners from the SSF Public Library Makerspace, Lectrify, and Skyline College’s Women in Engineering Club (WISER), there will be a variety of activities for kids from preschool to middle school age.
