South San Francisco, CA February 25, 2020
San Mateo Police arrested three juveniles, and 19-year old Daniel Mora Mendez, on charges of auto burglary Monday after they were called to the 1300 block of West Hillsdale Blvd in response to a tip of a burglary in progress. The four suspects were apprehended a few blocks away and were found to have stolen items in their silver Ford sedan.
The minors were brought to Hillcrest Juvenile Hall and Mendez was booked at the San Mateo County Main Jail, all with charges of burglary and possession of stolen goods.
This is a good reminder to not leave valuables in your vehicles, and to be aware of unknown/suspicious people in your neighborhood.
