South San Francisco, CA March 7, 2020 by Jacqui Grant
To the citizens of DC, SSF, SB & others — Why were you not at the emergency Council meeting tonight? In case you have not heard, we are about to LOSE TWO HOSPITALS!!! Seton Medical Center & Seton Medical Center Coastside. Coastside is the only EMERGENCY/LONG TERM CARE FACILITY between Pacifica and Santa Cruz.
The plan is to close BOTH by MONDAY!!
My roommate I, along with about 120 other residents, WILL HAVE NOWHERE TO GO!! One gentleman has been looking at other facilities for his son & says they are not even fit to keep a DOG.
Most of the people here have dementia/alzheimers, and require long-term care because they have no family members to care for them.
So think about it when you need to get to them hospital in a HURRY.
