See’s Candies will no longer be in production due to concerns due to the coronavirus, marking the second time this has happened, the first during WWII rationing. Reports from See’s state
“Given the current events with COVID-19, and our concern for the health and safety of our employees, we have made the decision to initiate an interruption once again. We will work to keep you updated as we develop plans to safely resume operations.”
Our local store front has been closed to the public for a while now, although our Easter Bunny is happily displayed for us all to enjoy. Online orders have also been suspended.

Our favorite Easter candy from See’s is a chocolate Easter egg with pecans in it. We have been getting those eggs for our family members for Easter for a very long time. This year, given corona virus concerns, I had decided just to make some candy at home. I respect this decision by See’s and wish all the people who work there the best.
