The San Mateo County Fair to Offer Drive-Thru Fair Food: corndogs, cotton candy, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, and fried twinkies

South San Francisco, CA  June 10, 2020 Press Release

The San Mateo County Fair is pleased to announce drive-through fair food at the San Mateo County Event Center and Fairgrounds starting Saturday, June 13, Sunday, June 14, and Friday-Sunday, June 19 -20, from 12pm-8pm at 2495 South Delaware. Enjoy corndogs, cotton candy, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, and fried twinkies. All drive through and to go!

While this weekend would have been the kickoff for the 2020 San Mateo County Fair, the staff has been diligently working on providing you a taste of Fair this year, all the while planning Fair 2021!

There will be no outdoor dining or gathering. Drive up to orders will be taken in the West Parking Lot at 2495 S. Delaware Street. Your order will then be delivered to your car so you can take home luscious Fair goodies to enjoy.

Fill your fair cravings with funnel cakes, deep-fried Oreos, corn dogs, and cotton candy brought to you by Fanny’s Fabulous Funnel Cakes. One of the Fair’s longest-running vendors since 1995, Fanny’s is owned and operated by Ron and Mary Beth Mize. “San Mateo is one of our favorite fairs. The people are fantastic, and the weather is always perfect. We couldn’t miss the opportunity to come back even without the full Fair,” Mary Beth Mize said.

“We all could use a sweet treat. Fanny’s will be a treat for all our San Mateo County residents and Fair fans”, said Justin Aquino, Fair Operations Manager.
