Dear Esteemed Leaders, Partners, Colleagues and Friends,
I hope this email finds you staying safe and healthy. Thank you for the wonderful support many of you provide to Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County. We remain humbled and honored to collaborate and partner with you in service to our communities. I am reaching out to ask for your help in helping us recruit an experienced and talented resource development leader for Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County. Your partnership and perspective will be instrumental as we look to hire our next Director of Development based in South San Francisco, but with a Bay Area-wide focus.
The Director of Development reports to and partners with the Chief Executive Officer. This position is a member of the senior management team and provides strategic, well-formulated and proactive fundraising approaches. The Director of Development will leverage executive-level relationships to advance targeted resource development strategies that convey a customized approach to all fundraising pursuits. The position will have the opportunity to grow and manage a resource development team, including the hiring of a Development Coordinator and his/her first immediate hire. I am looking for a thought partner, builder, and leader.
Thanks in advance for taking a few moments to share this opportunity with professionals in your network who may know development staffers interested in our Development Director opportunity. You’ll find the link to the job description HERE. As Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion – in both how we work with students and with each other – candidates of color and Boys & Girls Clubs alumni are encouraged to apply, as are all candidates who are driven to advance equity, diversity and inclusion within organizations and communities in the Bay Area.
If you have questions about this opportunity or ideas for candidates, feel free to reach out to me via email or my mobile at 408-507-0845. Of course, please continue to let me know how I can support the work you are doing with other organizations you are committed to as well! With gratitude to each of you for being a part of Boys & Girls Clubs’ remarkable community of alumni, staff and board leaders, investors, partners, colleagues and friends!
With deep gratitude,
Aubrey
