SSFPD Media Release: Auto vs. Pedestrian Collision Update – Suspect Arrested

On Wednesday night at approximately 9:48pm, South San Francisco Police and Fire personnel responded to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on the 200 block of Village Way. Upon police arrival, a 5O-year-old South San Francisco resident was in the process of being transported to a local trauma center for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On 1/21/2021, during the hit and run investigation officers located the vehicle suspected of running over the victim on the 200 block of Village Way. The registered owner was determined to have been the driver of the vehicle during the collision. The suspect was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail on charges of felony hit & run with injuries and being an unlicensed driver.
