SSFPD Media Release: Sexual Battery at Randolph Avenue/Edison Avenue in South San Francisco

On January 12th, 2021, at approximately 5:50 am, an unknown male subject approached and sexually assaulted a 24-year-old female while she was walking west on Randolph Avenue towards Edison Avenue in the City of South San Francisco. The victim began screaming, and the suspect fled the area on foot, last seen heading east on Randolph Avenue.

 

The suspect was described as a light-skinned male, approximately 5′-07″ tall, 150 pounds, with a slender build. The suspect was wearing a black beanie, a gray medical face mask, a black jacket, and black sweat pants.

In response to  this incident,  the South San Francisco  Police Department  would like to take this moment  to remind everyone to stay alert and to always be aware of their surroundings while walking.
